If you’re like most shoppers around the holidays, Thanksgiving marks day one of a month-long panic attack induced by the PTSD we had from last year’s shopping experience, causing us to procrastinate and delay the inevitable – the holiday gift exchange. And for many of us, it’s not just one gift exchange, but a bevy of them strung together as chaotically as the Christmas lights we’ve yet to untangle.
But there’s hope. 2018 gifted us an extra week between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year. How? November 1st fell on a Thursday making the fourth Thursday (Thanksgiving) the 22nd instead of the 29th.
It’s a Christmas miracle.
With 33 days to shop, you can put down the triple espresso and take your time. Because next year, Thanksgiving falls on the 28th and with only 27 days between the holidays, it will be the least amount of days to shop.
Failing to plan ahead is not an option.
